What is Evasive Escape Rooms?
Evasive Escape Rooms is Sarasota’s most immersive escape rooms yet. We are a family owned business who have a passion for the escape room industry and immersive experiences.
Is the room private?
Yes! At Evasive Escape Rooms, all bookings are private—only your group will be in the room.
How many people can play?
Group sizes depend on the game you are playing. Exterminated can fit up to 6. The Family Fallout Shelter can fit up to 5. If you would like to add more than our recommended group size, please give us a call.
Wasn't this Escape Rooms Unlocked before?
Yes, this location used to be owned by Escape Rooms Unlocked. We have already begun replacing older experiences and plan to have 3 brand new escape rooms by April of 2026.
Are the doors locked?
You will not be locked in the experience. Your timer will continue to run if you do leave to use the restroom, etc.
Where are you located?
We’re located at 4930 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL 34232.
What is the cost?
Our pricing changes depending on the number of players you bring! Groups of 4+ are $37.99/person + tax. Groups of 3 are $39.99/person + tax. Groups of 2 are $44.99/person + tax.
What are your hours?
We are open everyday 11:00AM - 10:00PM except Mondays. Hours are subject to change based on current availability. We will close as early as 5:00PM on days that there are no late evening bookings. You can also check our google page for most recent available hours (subject to change).
When do I need to arrive for my reservation?
We ask all players to arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to your game start time in order to fill out waivers, use the restroom, and for us to review the rules to your group. If you know you will be late, please give us a call at (941) 487-7463. Please understand that late groups are NOT guaranteed their full game hour.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Even though we STRONGLY recommend making a reservation prior to arriving, we do accept walk-ins. Please understand that walk-ins are subject to availability.
What if I need to reschedule?
You may reschedule your reservation ONCE up to 24 hours before your game start time. If your game start time is less than 24 hours, please give us a call at (941) 487-7463. Once your game time has started, we will NOT be able to rescheudle your game time.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
All cancellations MUST be made 48 hours before your game start time. Cancellations less than 48 hours before your game start time can be refunded as a credit to use at a future date. If you need to reschedule, please do so 24 hours before your game start time. This includes changing the amount of people in your party. We can offer store credit after 24 hours before game start time.
What happens if I am late?
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your game start time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee you will receive your full game time. Once your game time has started, you will have 30 minutes to enter the game. After 30 minutes, your game is forfeited with no refund.
How old do I need to be?
Anyone under the age of 6 does not need a ticket to play. Anyone ages 6 and older will need a ticket to play. For The Lost Cave, players under the age of 12 will require a paying adult (18+) to participate. For Exterminated, anyone under the age of 16 will need a paying adult 18+) to participate.
I have a gift card from Escape Rooms Unlocked - Sarasota. Is it still valid?
If you have a gift card that was purchased when Escape Rooms Unlocked was open, then YES, your gift card is still valid. Depending on when the gift card was purchased, you may be able to enter the code right on our booking system! If your code is not working, please give us a call and we can double check for you! Please note, we were provided a list by Escape Rooms Unlocked of every gift card purchased that we use to verify if the gift card is valid. If the purchase is not on the list, we will be unable to honor the gift card.
What if I want to play all of your available games in a single day?
